Yuecheng District Government Signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Zhejiang International E-Commerce Holdings Co., Ltd. (ZJIEC)

On the morning of January 22, the district government and ZJIEC held a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation framework agreement. Zhang Yong, a member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Zhejiang International Trade Group, attended and delivered a speech. Qian Linjiang, deputy secretary of the district committee and district head, presided over and addressed the event. Song Yaohua, deputy general manager (in charge of work) of the Trade Department of Zhejiang International Trade Group, and Lv Hanping, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, also attended. Zhu Dan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, director and general manager of ZJIEC, and Qi Lifeng, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and deputy district head, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.

Zhang Yong, on behalf of the Provincial International Trade Group, extended warm congratulations on the signing of the agreement and introduced the basic situation and cooperation vision of the group.  He stated that cross-border e-commerce is the fastest-growing, most potential, and strongest driving force among new forms of foreign trade, and Yuecheng District has a good industrial foundation and policy environment advantage. Next, the Provincial International Trade Group will implement the decision and deployment of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to "build a high-level open province", fully support the cooperation between Guomao Yushang and Yuecheng District, focus on cultivating the Shaoxing market, improve the level of foreign comprehensive service and cross-comprehensive service, and contribute to the accelerated development of the open economy in Yuecheng District.

Qian Linjiang, on behalf of the District Committee and the District Government, extended a warm welcome to Zhang Yong and his delegation. He also provided an overview of the basic situation of Yuecheng District and the construction progress of Shaoxing Digital Trade Port integrating with Hangzhou. He said that currently, Yuancheng District is fully implementing the deployment and requirements of the provincial and municipal authorities, and is deeply advancing the "expansion of foreign trade markets". It aims to build the Shaoxing Digital Trade Port for Integration with Hangzhou into the largest cross-border e-commerce park in the province and the largest production-oriented service industry attraction area in the city. We hope to take advantage of the industry advantages of Guomao Yushang to deepen all-round and multi-level cooperation, further strengthen the platform, empower the entity and innovate the model, and jointly build a highland of opening up in the province.

According to the agreement, the district government and ZJIEC will carry out cooperation in the construction of comprehensive service platform, service resource building, enterprise cultivation and other aspects, so as to further promote the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce industry in Yuecheng.
